Pfizer Named Ideal Employer in China
In a survey that asked more than 64,500 students from more than 100 top universities in China which organizations they would most want to work for after graduation, Pfizer ranked “most attractive” in the health and medicine category. Out of 200 Chinese companies ranked, Pfizer also came in 28th for “ethical standards” and 31st for “high level of responsibility.” The survey was conducted by the China Daily newspaper and Universum, a global company specializing in employer branding.
“We believe that the high appraisal Pfizer enjoys among the entire student population is highly reliant on the hard work and devotion of each department, especially the sales department, for providing a number of internship and job opportunities for the undergraduates in universities and colleges of mainland China,” said Tony Bian, Human Resources Director, Talent Acquisition. “Meanwhile, it is very beneficial for our future talent reserve, as Pfizer becomes highly regarded by more and more university students.”
Each year, the Universum Student Survey asks more than 400,000 students in nearly 30 countries to identify the employers they deem most desirable, resulting in the “Top 100 Ideal Employers” ranking for each country.
